More About Me

David has spent the bulk of his career in marketing and brand management, creative direction, strategic partnership and content creator best known for award winning work with global entertainment brands: Hallmark and Disney/ABC in Los Angeles and CBS in Houston.

When David decided to return to his home town of Charlotte, he spent 8 years at Charlotte Center City Partners, a city funded non-profit that promotes the Economic, Residential and Cultural development of Center City. As Director of Marketing and later promoted to VP of Marketing, he used his branding, marketing and design skills set to effectively brand neighborhoods and promote events.

His experience at CCCP's has left him with a vast knowledge of Center City and surrounding neighborhoods: Historic South End, Historic West End and North End. Having grown up in Myers Park, he's quite familiar with the other neighborhoods surrounding Center City as well.

His passion for real estate and renovation finally won out! He's renovated many properties: a historic condo in Elizabeth, two mid century properties in Los Angeles, a historic cabin in Lake Arrowhead, CA. and his current residence in Historic Fourth Ward.

An animal rescue advocate, one of David's most rewarding accomplishments has been training his mixed terrier rescue suffering from fear-based aggression. After two years of training his dog earned an AKC Good Canine Citizenship Certificate and successfully completed Therapy Dog Training.

David volunteers and helps organize neighborhood fundraising efforts including the 4W Holiday Home Tour and the 4W Garden tour. He also works closely with the Director of Charlotte Cemeteries on developing events, programming and fundraising to support preservation of Historic Elmwood and Pinewood Cemeteries.
